New Garden Houses
Nestled into the lush farm garden of Kifaru Coffee Estate, three newly built guest houses are ready to offer a comfortable stay after a long safari. We recommend booking entire houses for families or groups, while booking single rooms is also possible.
Experience a relaxing retreat in our lush farm garden
The first farmers originally laid out the old farm gardens of the estate in the early 1920s and created a forest oasis to serve as an escape from the heat of the African sun. Some of the oldest trees in the garden date back to this time and offer soft shade to weary travellers, away from the dusty safari roads or a long day on the plantation.
In 2022, 100 years after the garden was established, we finished the construction of three new houses, each located in their corner of the grounds. The houses each come with a generous veranda, fireplaces, ensuite bathrooms and views over the lower farm coffee fields. Here, you find ample space to rest and relish the memories of the day.
Banda Saba House offers two generous double rooms and a shared fireplace lounge opening up to the veranda.
Walimu House has one suite with a private fireplace lounge and an adjacent double room, sharing a common veranda. The other side of the house hosts two bunk-bed rooms with a shared fireplace lounge and ensuite bathrooms. The entire Walimu House is ideal for families; please get in touch with us directly if you are interested in booking the whole house.
Banda Schule House has two further bunk-bed rooms with ensuite bathrooms and a fireplace on the veranda. These rooms are ideal for larger groups with teenagers or budget-minded travellers.
